Abstract
The direct analysis of one of the fragments of tablets from Tiermes deposited in the MAN (Museo Arqueológico Nacional), leads to three differents readings: a person's name, [II] vir, or, even, the abbreviation [Q]VIR (ina). The historical consequences from each are given.
