Abstract
This article approaches drawing as a strategy of practical thinking capable of translating contemporary theoretical postulates into the concrete treatment of objects. It is situated within the framework of arts-based research, specifically drawing, with the aim of questioning the traditional conception of the object as a passive entity and proposing instead an understanding of things as agents capable of participating in the production of meaning. From this premise, an experimental drawing strategy is developed based on the interaction between objects and paper, intended to generate graphic traces that register the material history of the objects. This recording of the intangible is presented as a procedure articulated around the concepts of episteme, praxis, and poiesis, transforming theoretical speculation into a sensory experience. In this way, drawing is framed as a research practice that makes it possible to render visible the latent qualities of objects and to explore new forms of relationship between matter, technique, and knowledge.
