Abstract

To study the evolution of the rural school environment is to learn about the search for decent premises that would meet the necessary hygienic and pedagogical conditions. And that was not going to be easy. From the very first moments, the very existence of a specific rural school space was questioned, and on occasions the school was part of a community building, sharing space with the town hall, other municipal buildings or with dwellings and commercial premises.
