Abstract

The concepts of social sciences, such as identity, imply a conception, usually implicit, about the subject of which they speak. It is outlined the existence of different ways of understanding this sociality of the subject. These different conceptions of sociality are part of the political discourse. It is considered the existence of a hegemonic neoliberal discourse characterized by the weakening of social ties of solidarity, supported by a rhetoric that relies crucially on the paradox as a communicative structure.
