Under the umbrella of the art circuits we find many issues which, although related to the artistic, do not pertain directly to the area of the creation. The financial crisis of the last decade led to a perverse bubble in contemporary art. Art became understood as a mere business in the hands of dealers, auctioneers and some galleries. The roles changed of the art institutions (foundations, museums …) and of the cultural industry in general. The role also changed of the specialist publications and art critics.

All these issues seem insurmountable to reflect on the impact of contemporary art, in what some call postmodernism and others the era of the post-truth, to shine, if applicable, some light on this dense network of contradicting plots which the art of our time seems to have become.
