Abstract
The article analyses teaching aspects in the rural environment related to the country, the territory, the geography, the agriculture and the rural industry, in a one-room rural school around 1946. The article presents many examples (texts, drawings and maps) taken out from some school notebooks of the author, and also drawings from a notebook of the teacher Enrique Asensi. The article shows how even in hard times, facing repression and in a hostile environment, a good teacher is able to overcome the negative circumstances and to do a remarkable work using the spirit of the previous formation he had received, fact the made him got punished.
