Abstract
This article examines the extent to which drawing can make perceptible emotional dimensions that are not immediately visible. Based on the project «Fisuras», graphic narrative is approached both as a storytelling medium and as a space for observation, recording and analysis. The study combines the production of 72 black-and-white illustrations with the use of the Facial Action Coding System (FACS), through manual interpretation and comparison with artificial intelligence tools (OpenFace). This intersection makes it possible to observe expressive micro-configurations within the drawings and to relate the drawn line to data recognizable from a technical approach to facial analysis. The aim is not to scientifically validate drawing, but to explore how it can function as a system for the visual translation of complex affective information. In doing so, drawing becomes a situated form of knowledge between art, science and technology.
