Abstract

An exceptional case of the search of the permanent training is the one that involved the teacher of elementary education, Epifanio Romero Pindado who, for two weeks in May 1933 visited the Grupo Escolar Cervantes in Madrid. This centre had a fundamental mission, announcing its organization, way of work and methodology of education, as well as the activities of social action and complementary educations. As consequence of this experience, the newspaper “The Region” of Santander (Cantabria), published a series of Epifano’s articles, where he explains his pedagogical reflexions about the School and the pedagogy.
