Abstract
This article presents an interview conducted by an octogenarian woman from a town in the province of Segovia with questions that affect her childhood stage. Through these we pretend to recover relevant dimensions of their school experience as well as the memory of a childhood marked by the postwar period. This interview rescues one of the testimonies of those popular class students who have been commonly silenced by traditional historiography and shows the importance of the recovery of living oral sources as the main method for the reconstruction of our recent historical-educational memory.
