Abstract

The article analyzes the creation of the Museum of the Sierra Pambley Foundation (León), focus-ing especially on the so-called “Sala Cossío”. This space shows the work of Sierra Pambley schools linked, from its inception, with the ideas of the Free Institution of Education in Madrid. It also points out the activities that the Museum and other areas of the Foundation are currently doing to remember the work and personalities of this historical period of education in Spain.
