Abstract

The Pedagogical Museum of the Faculty of CC. Education of the University of Seville, continuing its research and dissemination of the history of Spanish education through a critical teaching, has launched since November a new exhibition funded by the Equality Unit of the University. Starting from the basic principle that the Museum must constantly put past and present relationship, and the premise that advertising is a powerful mechanism for informal education and, at the same time, an effective source for historical and educational research, the purpose essence of this experience has been to show how it has evolved the image of women offered as a model in the ads of the Spanish magazines of the twentieth century.
