Abstract

This article offers a reflection on materiality understood from a relational perspective, in which bodies, objects and systems of artistic representation are interwoven in complex networks of interaction between materials, spaces and bodies. Drawing on the analysis of contemporary artistic practices and various theoretical references related to material thinking, it explores the role of the body as an active interface, weaving as a structural model of thought, and the spider web as a privileged metaphor for interconnected systems. Furthermore, the author's own artistic practice is examined as an experimental field in which these notions are materialized through drawing, installation, and the use of thread as a plastic medium. The text articulates a transition from the corporeal to the spatial, proposing that soft forms and textile systems can constitute a critical pathway for rethinking the relationships between technology, perception, and creative practice in the contemporary context.
