Abstract

This article takes a look at the newspapers and magazines of teaching in Cantabria, in a historical period of political upheaval, which stars in the rise of the press and education as an instrument of progress and social regeneration

This press acted as a vehicle of communication between professionals teaching, dissemination of ideas, administrative information and complaint and claim. History of Education, History of the Press and Social History in these publications is one of its main sources.
