Abstract
The Centro de Recursos, Interpretación y Estudios de la Escuela (CRIEME) of Polanco, in addition to dedicating itself to the recovery and registration of school heritage, places special emphasis on its dissemination and on the use of its exhibitions and projects as a didactic tool. The center is especially aimed at students from the Autonomous Community of Cantabria and most of the ac-tivities are aimed at this type of public. The CRIEME, in addition to developing educational work in the center itself, opens its doors to collaborate in others, mainly in educational centers in the community. We believe that the work of sensitization and awareness in the care and respect of our heritage in the smallest will be a guarantee for its conservation in the future and a value in the formation of the following generations.
