Abstract

The main objective of the article is to assess the tasks and problems of transmitting art, immersed in higher teaching systems. It addresses the challenge we face in order to determine the transmission of the plastic arts as an autonomous and differentiated field of knowledge, although interconnected; in constant interaction with disciplines and areas of scientific, technical or humanistic knowledge. Structurally, the text is constructed through four intertwined 'stages', following the central corpus an argumentative methodology that investigates the re-transmitting methods, the recurrence of images and words, as well as the 'transmission of objectives' justified by a sensitive aesthetic operation that feeds the ways of making material for the creation of art. The results, not always conclusive, abound in the transmission of these purposes.
