Abstract
Julio Ruiz Berrio, Professor of History of Education, passed away on 9 October. We recall here the special relationship he maintained with our school, which, in addition to being extraordinarily valuable to us, exemplifies his boundless generosity and the help he was always willing to give to anyone who had any interest or undertook the most insignificant initiative in the field of the history of school education.
