Don Francisco Giner de los Ríos: Un soñador para la escuela

Abstract

This year of 2015 is the centenary of the death of Don Francisco Giner de los Ríos, founder of the Institución Libre de Enseñanza and the most influential personality in our education system, since the last quarter of the nineteenth century, through its work and his disciples.
The Centro de Recursos, Interpretación y Estudios de la Escuela wishes to point out the event publishing the conference pronounced by its founder and first director last September 18 at the Ateneo de Santander. The full text maintains his popularizer character, and adds some pictures, appropriate bibliographic citations and references.
