Abstract
The evolution of generative art has witnessed decades of innovation, with multimedia installations emerging as a privileged space to explore the transformation of the intangible into perceptible experience. This text analyzes the convergence of art, science, and technology, showing how contemporary artists use data, algorithms, and programming, together with creativity and innovation, to define the behavioral rules of generative systems. In this context, the 'stroke' becomes a conceptual and sensory gesture that connects the logic of information with human sensibility, allowing mathematical patterns, natural processes, scientific data, or emotional states to become tangible. Understanding the systems they work with is crucial for artists to innovate and contribute to scientific knowledge, creating an interdisciplinary space where creativity and analytical rigor complement each other. Generative installations thus function as portals that reveal the invisible, offering the viewer experiences that materialize phenomena normally inaccessible and expand our understanding of reality. Beyond the visualization of data, these works invite reflection on our relationship with the environment, with ourselves, and with the intersection of art and science from a holistic and humanistic perspective.
