For the Australian choreographer Stephen Page, dance is the oldest form of human expression. Today it brings together, in one form or another, all forms of artistic expression: painting and sculpture, through the plastic arts that dance brings with it; music as an inseparable companion; interpretation through the performance of people; poetry in the expressive lyricism and narrative in the course of a story. All the arts harmonise in an ancient but at the same time rabidly contemporary artistic discipline, on which it is necessary to reflect and investigate.
